A set of four stunning dessert or compote dishes in frosted pink pressed glass. These rare and beautiful dishes have a flared rim and stand on a pedestal. The dishes are in the depression glass style of the 1930s but may be as late as the 1950s. They have a flamboyant shape with a hobnail pattern around the bowl and on the stem decoration. The stem is hexagonal and stands on a round fluted foot. The set of dishes are in almost mint condition with just the faintest spoon scuffing inside the base of the bowls which you’d have to look very hard to see. The bowls measure 16cm high and around 12 to 15cm wide across the rim. These dishes need to be seen and held to appreciate their beautiful colour and shape. They will make the most stylish statement on your table and will always look fabulous on display.
